Junior Andre has hinted at a possible new direction as he looks to take his aspiring music career to the next level.
The 20-year-old, son of Katie Price and Peter Andre, is steadily building his reputation as a musician but admitted he would love to document life on the road once his music takes him global.
“Well one day when I’m touring the world I would love to document it definitely. I think that would be so fun,” he told The Standard while walking the red carpet at the National Television Awards at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday night.
“You could see behind the scenes of how you get ready for a show, how you make yourself pumped for the show, rehearsals backstage, what goes wrong, what goes right. So much goes into it.”
While fans might hope this means a reality series is already in the works, Junior stressed that his focus remains firmly on music for now.
“The music is going really well, I’m not putting any pressure on myself,” he said. “I’m working hard every day. Staying true to myself, I’m creating constantly and cannot wait to come out and show the world what I do.”
He also praised his younger sister Princess, 18, who is thriving as both a model and star of ITV’s The Princess Diaries. Junior has also featured on the show, which looks likely to return for a second series, although this has not yet been officially confirmed.
“I’m so proud of what she’s doing, we’re proud of each other and we’re growing up and my sister’s a beautiful human,” he added warmly.
This year’s NTAs marked the 30th anniversary of the annual ceremony, hosted by Joel Dommett and celebrating the very best in television. Stars from across drama, soaps and entertainment packed into the O2 for one of the biggest nights in the small-screen calendar.
Adding to the excitement, Staying Relevant podcast hosts Pete Wicks and Sam Thompson fronted the award ceremony’s official red carpet coverage, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the arrivals.
Among the night’s big winners was Gary Lineker, who picked up the Best Presenter award – ending Ant and Dec’s 22-year winning streak.
Strictly Come Dancing was named Best Talent Show, while EastEnders triumphed in the Serial Drama category and Happy Valley scooped Best Returning Drama.
Former Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague also picked up a trophy, taking home the Best Reality Personality award for her Prime Video series Molly-Mae: Behind It All.
