Initial reviews of the StainForce Cordless Stain-Destroying Spot Cleaner are exceptionally encouraging, with the cleaning device achieving a 4.9 review rating. One shopper said: “As a busy household of 5, plus pets, this little gadget is a game changer. I’ve tried several stains removers on my kitchen sofa that’s had goodness knows what spilled over it over the years and nothing has really worked. I wasn’t expecting great things due to the length of time some of these marks have been there, but nothing proved too much for this machine.” Another review states: “I was surprised to find that you don’t actually need to add any water to the cleaning product and I did doubt that it would remove any dirt (used on sofa). However, it did work exceptionally well, and brought the fabric back to a lovely blue again, on the arms and seating area.” A third buyer comments: “Great for spills or stubborn stains. What I liked about this product its not bulky and love the caddy to carry around and storage. Its very light and not heavy. Instructions was easy to read and start it up.” However, while the Shark gadget is reportedly capable of tackling old stains, some may prove too stubborn for this machine. One person wrote: “For spills and new stains this is brilliant, even got blood off a white chair when my daughter had a nose bleed. Although others have said they had good results with old stains, I have a bit of carpet where my cats leave their kill remains that it didn’t work for.” Another customer echoed this sentiment, stating: “As for cleaning I did find that some of my stains on my tatty sofa in conservatory were beyond help! However after a watching an exciting football match on tv the inevitable spill of lager was my opportunity to test it , I can honestly say it was amazing at this fresh spill so powerful that it left it practically dry.”
