The residents of Buncrana will soon be able to buy vouchers to spend in local shops.

It comes as Buncrana Business Together announced the initiative, a head of the festive season.

50 people attended a meeting on Thursday night last, and 11 local businesses pledged to fund the pilot.

Co-ordinator Paul Brogan says the support to date has been immense, and is calling on more local enterprises to get involved
