Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Chargers: Game matchup
With a pair of AFC West victories in tow already, the Chargers have a chance to jump in the early driver’s seat in the division by beating the Broncos at home. Los Angeles opened with a 27-21 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Brazil in Week 1, then rode a stellar defensive effort to a 20-9 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2. Though the Raiders converted 9-of-18 third down conversation to help keep the game close, the Chargers held them to just 218 yards on 65 plays for an average of just 3.4 yards per play.

The Broncos did a mini tour of the AFC South over the first two weeks of the season, opening with a 20-12 win over the Tennessee Titans before falling to the upstart Indianapolis Colts (29-28) last weekend. The Denver defense was uncharacteristically generous in the team’s loss to Indianapolis, giving up 473 yards and allowing quarterback Daniel Jones to put up a 107.0 rating and 78.7 QBR for the game. The Broncos pass rush will look to make life more difficult on Sunday, but face a big challenge in trying to contain Justin Herbert and the Chargers attack.
The Broncos and Chargers are set for a 4:05 p.m. ET start on CBS. Live streams are available from FuboTV (free trial), DirecTV (free trial), and Paramount Plus (free trial).
