Speaking to TMZ Sports, Bradshaw was asked about Brady’s latest controversy: his split responsibilities as Fox Sports’ lead analyst and a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. Some fans and insiders have called it a conflict of interest, especially after Brady was spotted wearing a headset in the Raiders’ coaching booth during their “Monday Night Football” game against the Chargers. But Bradshaw didn’t see what all the fuss was about.
“That is between Tom, Fox and the NFL,” Bradshaw said. “I suppose it is different from anything we’ve ever seen. But I don’t have a problem with it.” He doubled down later in the chat, brushing off the outrage. “I have no problem with what they’re doing,” he added.

For Bradshaw, the Brady storm was far less pressing than another rule that’s been eating at him for years.
“I’ll tell you what I’ve got a complaint about,” Bradshaw said, pivoting quickly. “I got a complaint about us paying all that money to the NFL. And they won’t let us Hall of Famers during the playoff games stand on the sideline or the Super Bowl. I got a problem with that.”

The NFL keeps its postseason sidelines tight, limiting access to players, staff, officials, media, and select guests. Hall of Famers get their flowers at ceremonies. But they don’t get automatic sideline passes. It’s a rule rooted in crowd control and security.
For Terry Bradshaw, that feels like a slight. While he brushed off concerns about Tom Brady’s dual role, the 76-year-old made clear his real gripe: legends like him being boxed out of the game’s biggest moments.
But as for the ‘Tom, Fox and NFL’ debate, not everyone’s ready to brush aside the concerns like Terry did.
Antonio Pierce calls Tom Brady’s dual role “Foolish”
Former Raiders coach Antonio Pierce has laid down his two cents regarding Tom Brady’s controversial dual role as both FOX broadcaster and minority owner of the Raiders. Pierce, who led the Raiders throughout 2024—the same year Brady received official approval as minority owner—appeared on Adam Schein’s SiriusXM Mad Dog Radio show. He candidly explaining why the arrangement feels bizarre and potentially unjust.
“This is unprecedented, what we’re seeing,” Pierce declared. “I think I would be uncomfortable if it was the other way around, to be honest with you. Because you’re not dealing with just a normal person. Tom Brady is the elite of the elite, one of the greatest quarterbacks, one of the greatest players in the game, played against him obviously, student of the game.”

“It’s not hard for him to watch a few things on a Friday practice or hear things in a production meeting and be like, ‘Hmm,’ and have tidbits. And you’d be foolish enough to think that he’s not gonna share that with the Raiders because we had those conversations about certain things.”
While Brady’s unique position has sparked plenty of takes, Pierce’s comments hit at the heart of the debate. If one of the league’s coaches finds the arrangement unfair, it’s clear this controversy won’t fade anytime soon.
