After watching recent Indiana Fever celebration videos, one thing caught people’s eye… There was a lot of attention drawn to Caitlin Clark’s shoes. The six-foot-tall point guard had black AF1s on, which were also a part of the celebration, but they kept getting called back as if there was some sort of reference we’re all missing.
Apparently, the shoes are the Fever’s postseason good luck charm of sorts. “Black forces? She means business.” Her teammate Aliyah Boston said ahead of Game 2 in Indiana, which signalled the turnaround of the series for the Fever. While it’s something that we’ve not seen before, superstitions are quite normal for athletes!
