COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Lexington is hosting a new series of events designed to help children, teens, and their families better understand and manage stress and anxiety.
Titled “Navigating the Pressure: A Series of Events to Help Kids Thrive in a Stressed-Out World,” the series brings together nationally recognized speakers, local experts, and engaging experiences to equip families with real-world tools for navigating the modern challenges facing today’s youth.
“We’ve heard from parents, teachers, and leaders across the community—and the message was clear: our young people are under more pressure than ever before,” says Delores Steinhauser, a member of Pilgrim’s planning team. “This series is our way of responding with hope, resources, and support.”
The first, Beyond the Scoreboard, will take place this Sunday, September 21, with former MLB player Travis Snider.
Snider is set to share his journey through professional sports and his mission to reshape the culture of youth athletics.
