Taylor Swift launches her own SiriusXM channel for 'Life of a Showgirl' countdown

Swifties, are you ready for it? Taylor Swift launched her own SiriusXM station on Sept 20, fittingly 13 days before the release of her new “The Life of a Showgirl” album.
Taylor’s specialty Channel 13 will be dedicated to all things Swift for the 13-day countdown to the Oct. 3 release of her 12th studio album. The pop star’s broadcast will air across North America from Saturday, Sept. 20 to Sunday, Oct. 19.
This comes after T.Swift announced she’s for a special “The Life of a Showgirl” release party event, running in AMC theaters nationwide.
According to SiriusXM, the company’s president Scott Greenstein confirmed the “Shake It Off” singer’s big news in a statement, writing: “Taylor Swift continues to not only dominate the music world, but also every aspect of pop culture.
“Her chart-topping, award-winning songs resonate with every generation of listeners, and we are thrilled to deliver our subscribers a place to celebrate their fandom and the new album with the launch of Taylor’s Channel 13.”
He continued, “SiriusXM has proudly supported Taylor from the very beginning of her career and championed her artistry every step of the way. The channel is a unique destination for fans to connect in a way like never before, hear her music across all eras of her legendary career, and celebrate The Life of a Showgirl in a uniquely SiriusXM way.”
Taylor’s Channel 13 will feature her top-charting singles, deep album cuts, From the Vault tracks, and live performances available for listeners in their cars on satellite and via the SiriusXM app.
