QU Celebrates Graduation of Third Batch of Professional Diploma Students

Doha, September 21 (QNA) – Qatar University (QU), represented by the Community Service and Continuing Education Center, celebrated the graduation of the third batch of professional diploma graduates, comprising 247 graduates. Atending the ceremony were representatives from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Ministry of Labor, and partner institutions.

The list of professional specializations from which the students graduated, as part of the partnership between the University’s Community Service and Continuing Education Center and the Pioneer Training Center, included Networks and Cyber Security, Human Resources Management, Graphic Design, Social Media Management, Leadership and Business Administration, Interior Design, and Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence.

Director of the Community Service and Continuing Education Center Dr. Rajab Al Ismail, emphasized the importance of professionally specialized programs tailored to the labor market, noting that the occasion marked not merely the conclusion of an academic and training journey, but the beginning of a new phase in each graduate’s life, one defined by ambition, dedication, and creativity.

He also stressed that QU carefully designed these professional programs, in collaboration with a select group of experts and faculty members, to keep pace with the needs of the evolving labor market in Qatar and support the Qatar National Vision 2030, which places investment in human capital at the heart of its priorities.

Dr. Al Ismail explained that professional diplomas have become a fundamental pillar in developing practical and professional skills, due to their precise specializations, flexible training duration, reasonable costs, increased employment opportunities, and support for entrepreneurship and competitiveness.

QU’s Community Service and Continuing Education Center seeks to instill a culture of lifelong learning by providing educational opportunities that meet the needs of individuals and institutions in Qatari society and by promoting service, volunteer, and collaborative learning through the development of sustainable partnerships between the university, the community, and the industrial sector.
