It’s no secret that most people hate housework, but one of the things the 21st century has brought us is the technology to take care of hoovering for us. For those that hate vacuuming their home and are ready to jump on the robot hoover bandwagon, one Dreame robot vacuum is currently on a generous offer on Amazon. The D9 Max Gen 2 is currently £149, down from the usual price of £199, offering a saving of £50. It has 6,000 Pa of suction to ensure all dust and debris is banished from carpets and floors, and comes with a spacious 570 ml dust box, which can be easily emptied when full. To programme the robot cleaning assistant, users can edit a map of their home on their smartphones, which allows them to choose where the vacuum should clean, and it can even be set on a schedule so it can clean while shoppers are out of the house. For those with hard flooring, it has a built-in mop with a 235 ml water tank to tackle stubborn grime and dirt around the house. It has glowing reviews from customers and is one of the more comprehensive cordless vacuums on the market in terms of cleaning, reports the Express. There’s also the Shark Classic Anti Hair Wrap Upright Pet Vacuum , which is currently on sale for £199.99. This gadget comes with a five-year guarantee, offering reliability alongside its higher price tag. But the Dreame vacuum has raked in some incredible reviews , with plenty of people having deemed it “amazing” and worth the money. One reviewer said: “I absolutely love my little robot vacuum. He is set up to do his rounds with a nifty little routine feature. Alexa is compatible, so I can ask Alexa to set him off. “He’ll take himself home when he’s finished to charge up and empty his own little dust compartment. Honestly, one of the best purchases. “I tell everyone to invest in a robot vacuum now because it really is worth it. My floors have been so clean since having him, and he has become a perfect little addition to my home.” Not everyone was super pleased, with some claiming it struggles to reach the edges of the home. One shopper added: “It seems fine, but sometimes it doesn’t come close to the edges, leaving dust or particles behind.” Another buyer added: “Great little vacuum robot we now call ‘Roger’. Very easy to setup and does a great job of vacuuming the floor. Managed to get it setup with Alexa to do certain rooms which is great! “I have only used the mop once and seemed to do an ok job. Probably won’t be using this feature very often or at all.” The discounted robot vacuum is available on Amazon.
