I support Oregon’s efforts to work with other states to provide medically sound vaccination recommendations and requirements for childhood vaccinations, (“Hawaii joins West Coast states in vaccine policy alliance,” Sept. 4).
I find Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s massive attacks against — and dismissal of —the people at the federal level who are most capable of making these recommendations to be deplorable and dangerous. His self-proclaimed expertise is quack medicine. We need children to be vaccinated against crippling and deadly diseases.
