Jeremy Clarkson made an honest confession live while accepting his National Television Award (NTA) last night (September 10). The former Top Gear presenter was left clinging to his trousers as he picked up the award for best factual entertainment programme for the Clarkson’s Farm series. While you would presume he would be jumping for joy, the presenter was unable to do so as he confessed his trousers were beginning to ‘fall down’ on stage. The 65-year-old opened up over his Mounjaro use, and how it had been aiding his weight loss: “I should explain I’m on Mounjaro, my trousers are falling down.” READ MORE: Shirley Ballas confirms BBC Strictly Come Dancing ‘first’ as she lets slip new details Lisa was left trying to hold his clothes up by the waist band, as Jeremy added: “Lisa’s going to hold my trousers up whilst I make a very short speech.” Discussing farming, he went on: “Farming is a difficult job and I appreciate the way people are going, ‘I didn’t know where my sausages came from’,” the Mirror reported. He continued: “You don’t love farming, you love moments of it — it is really tricky right now. “Farmers work so hard for no money so it’s delightful that people recognise a farming show can beat a house cleaning show. We shall go and have a drink.” Jeremy’s win comes on the same night Gary Lineker managed to knock Ant and Dec off their top spot of best TV presenter. The pair had taken home the crown for 23 years prior to the announcement the former Match of the Day star had won. While the double act could not be present for the night, they shared their congratulations to Gary via a video posted to their Instagram channel. Sixty four year old whippersnapper, Gary Lineker.” Dec continued: “Well deserved. Congratulations Gary. Great speech too.” Ant jumped in: “Thoroughly deserved.”
