Post the dead-rubber between India and Oman on Friday (September 19) at the Sheikh Zayad National Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Friday (September 19), the focus of the 2025 Asia Cup will turn to its’ business end with the Super Four stage set to start on Saturday (September 20) as Bangladesh face Sri Lanka before the tense clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan on Sunday (September 21). Alongside the Men in Blue and Green from Group A, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh also made it to the second round as T20 World Cup 2024 semi-finalist Afghanistan failed to qualify. What Is The Super 4 Format? In the Super 4 stage, all four teams will play each other once each. At the end of the six games, the two teams at the top of the points table will qualify for the final, scheduled to take place on September 28. All the games from here on, including the summit clash, will take place at the Dubai International Stadium, apart from one game, which is scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi. It is worth noting that points from the group stage will not carry forward to the Super 4, and all four teams will start with a clean slate.
