Ambassador Boateng is the NPP’s Key to Victory in 2028; Let’s Elect Him National Chairman – Patriotic Citizens

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and founder of Patriotic Citizens of NPP, has stated that the party needs a National Chairman who is not only capable of uniting the party but also someone who understands party tradition and will maintain discipline.

Nana Owusu has therefore proposed Ambassador Edward Boateng, describing him as a grassroots person, a unifier, and a man of credibility.

He noted that delegates of the party prefer him as their national chairman, and since the man expressed interest in the seat, it has sent positive reactions from the rank and file of the NPP.

Nana Owusu was optimistic that with Ambassador Edward Boateng at the helm of affairs, the party will win the 2028 presidential election.

“The man is a man of credibility, and with him as our national chairman, securing the 2028 general elections would be easier for the NPP. He has a solid track record. There are no skeletons in his cupboard. You cannot associate him with any act of corruption. He is firm, resilient, and competent.”

He asserted that the party does not need just any individual without experience and competence to be elected as the party’s chairman.

“We need somebody with a strong will to maintain party discipline. We need someone with the ability to crack the whip when necessary. He is the most favorable, and I will encourage all delegates of the party to vote massively for him if we indeed want to secure victory in 2028,” he added.

Ambassador Boateng was Ghana’s 15th ambassador to the People’s Republic of China with concurrent accreditation to the Republic of Mongolia and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea from June 2017 to November 2020.

Ambassador Boateng founded the Global Media Alliance (GMA), a pan-African media and entertainment conglomerate, in 1998.

Ambassador Boateng holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Clark-Atlanta University in the United States, a postgraduate diploma from Yale University and a Bachelor’s degree in economics and law from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana.

He is married with four children.
