There was no shortage of big plays in Michigan’s 30-27 win over Nebraska on Saturday to open the Big Ten slate for both schools.
The 21st-ranked Wolverines (3-1) had three touchdowns of 37 yards or longer, while the Cornhuskers (3-1) pulled off a successful Hail Mary at the end of the first half following a clock management gaffe by Michigan.
Michigan bounced back in the second half and used a dominant run game (286 yards) and fierce pass rush (seven sacks) to hand Nebraska its 28th straight loss to a ranked opponent.
Meanwhile, the Wolverines head into a bye week on a high note and will get head coach Sherrone Moore back for their next game against Wisconsin on Oct. 4. Here’s what’s being said nationally about Saturday’s game:
