BENIN – The Edo State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), on Thursday declared that it is banking on Senator David Mark’s wealth of experiences to lead the party to its promised land.

The state chairman of the party, Odion Kennedy, said this in Benin while reacting to the news of Senator Mark’s recognition as the national chairman of the party by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He said the ADC as a party is well structured on good leadership and that they will be getting such in the person of David Mark.

Kennedy said that 2027 is going to be a very crucial year in the history of Nigerian politics and that it requires someone with the leadership acumen like him to steer the ship of the party to an el dorado.

The Edo state chairman of the party said David Mark has been in politics for many years now and that, that has bestowed on him a lot of wisdom and experiences that he needed to direct the affairs of the party and coast it to victory in the forthcoming general election as it gathers momentum.

He added that Nigerians have had enough of insecurity, hunger and starvation and that they are in a hurry to get out of such woes.

While commending the INEC for the recognition of the person of David Mark as the national chairman of the party and other leaders occupying various positions at the national level, he said the state chapter of the ADC will always rally round them to succeed in their onerous tasks of providing leadership for the party.

“We at the state level, will always support you to succeed in this task given to you to provide good leadership for the party and lead it to victory in the forthcoming elections in the country.

“We are also confident that under your leadership, there is going to be stability in the party and this will further endears other Nigerians to join the party,” Kennedy said.
