Gaza, September 20 (QNA) – The Israeli occupation forces’ bombardments and firepower killed nine Palestinians on Saturday in many parts across the Gaza Strip, bringing the toll since dawn today to 79 fatalities.
Four Palestinians were killed, and others wounded in an Israeli bombing of Hamid Junction, west of Gaza City, while three others were killed in an Israeli drone attack on a displaced tent in the Al-Sawarah area, west of Nuseirat Camp in the central Gaza enclave, Palestinian local sources reported.
A Palestinian was killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted displaced persons’ tents northwest of Gaza City, while a Palestinian woman was killed by occupation gunfire in the vicinity of Hamad City, north of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, several civilians were wounded in an Israeli strike on aid-security personnel south of Khan Younis, and two others sustained critical injuries in an Israeli bombardment near Hanine Mosque in the Mawasi al-Qarara area, northwest of Khan Younis.
Later today, the Gaza Ministry of Health reported that the toll from the Israeli occupation’s offensive on the Gaza enclave, since the start of the war of extermination on Oct. 7, 2023, has soared to 65,208 fatalities and 166,271 injuries, mostly women and children. (QNA)
