Beirut, September 20 (QNA) – One person was killed on Saturday in a new airstrike launched by Israel on southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health’s Emergency Operations Center reported in a statement that an Israeli airstrike targeted a vehicle traveling on the Khardali road, resulting in the death of one individual.
This strike comes just a day after another Israeli attack killed one person and injured others when it targeted a car outside the entrance of the Tebnin Government Hospital in southern Lebanon.
A ceasefire agreement for southern Lebanon, which took effect on Nov. 27, 2024, mandated the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns within 60 days. However, Israeli troops have remained in five positions and continue to violate the ceasefire. (QNA)
