Most of us desire to purchase a lavish bungalow, our dream car, or travel around the world, once we have enough wealth, isn’t it? Well, there’s nothing wrong with having such ambitions, but how many of us actually care about helping others or bringing a significant change in society when we become successful? Very few, right?
In this pursuit of wealth, a young vlogger from Pakistan, named Muhamad Shiraz, used his social media income for good and changed the destiny of his village school.
Muhammad Shiraz Upgraded Her School
Belonging to the District Skardu, Gilgit Baltistan, Shiraz achieved recognition on social media in very little time by sharing his everyday life and the village culture of his area with the world.
In his recent video, shared on YouTube, Shiraz’s father said that he used the earnings from his social media and vlogging to develop the school in his village.
It begins with footage of the dilapidated condition of the school, with no chairs for students, terrible teaching conditions and even the children’s clothes were in poor condition.
A year later, the school got a major upgrade with well-built classrooms with basic and modern amenities like a Computer, Table, Chair, Electricity, Washroom, Principal’s office, Canteen, Solar Panels as well as a playing area for the kids.
Speaking about the development, the vlogger said that he began with a small amount, which he earned through his YouTube and social media earnings. But things changed after “Allah sent a person like an angel.”
An anonymous woman, whom he had never met before, contacted and said she was willing to take complete responsibility for the school, from teacher wages to building and maintenance. Since then, she has funded and managed all aspects of the school’s operations.

As soon as the vlog was shared on YouTube, the comment section was flooded with reactions. A user commented, “This is one of the most inspiring things I’ve seen. Using your YouTube earnings to renovate a school is more than just generosity—it’s an investment in children’s futures and in the betterment of society.”
Another one commented, “A true example of progress is not relying solely on the government; if every individual does their part, we can refine and improve society together.” One person wrote, “This is a great contribution to your underprivileged society. You have opened a light of hope for innocent children who will now receive primary education and build their future.”
“I think there’s no better influencer than him; he thinks beyond himself and works for the betterment of his people, providing them with better days through his videos, and trying to improve the conditions of his village,” a person shared.
