October will kick off with the release of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Kantara Chapter 1. Maddock Films’ next horror love story, Thama, arrives on Diwali along with Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari features Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Akshay Oberoi, and Maniesh Paul. Set against the vibrant backdrop of a big fat Indian wedding, the film is a rom-com and a grand family entertainer. Shashank Khaitan directs the movie backed by Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari releases in theatres on October 2, 2025. Kantara: Chapter 1 Kantara: Chapter 1 is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 2 in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and English. The film also stars Gulshan Devaiah and Rukmini Vasanth. This story is set a thousand years ago and has mythological roots. The trailer of Kantara: Chapter 1 will be out on September 22. Lord Curzon Ki Haveli Anshuman Jha’s directorial debut, Lord Curzon Ki Haveli, is releasing in theatres on October 10. It is a quirky black comedy thriller starring Rasika Dugal and Arjun Mathur. Shot entirely in the UK, the film promises a Hitchcockian mix of suspense, wit, and dark humour. Thama Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Thama releases on Diwali 2025. It is the next chapter in Maddock Supernatural Universe. The film is a love story between a human and a vampire. The trailer is yet to release. Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa’s Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat will be clashing with Thama on Diwali 2025. The romantic thriller releases on October 21. The film is directed by Milap Milan Zaveri. The Taj Story The courtroom drama, The Taj Story, releases in theatres on October 31.
