High school football Week 4 roundup: Midlothian, Dinwiddie, Armstrong, Manchester, St. Christopher’s, Caroline remain unbeaten to highlight the action around the 804.

No. 10 Midlothian 49, Richmond High School for the Arts 6: DK Chapman rushed 17 times for 98 yards and two TDs, Rod Smalls came up big with six carries for 53 yards and a score, and the Trojans (4-0) trounced the visiting Bulldogs (0-4).
Dyson Coleman paced Midlo in receiving with 64 yards and a TD on two receptions from QB Gibson Gross, who completed 9 of 18 pass attempts for 155 yards. Defensively, Peter Roberts registered a pair of TFLs.

Hanover 9, Mills Godwin 7: The only points of the low-scoring affair came in the second quarter.
Luke Roberts started the scoring for the Eagles (1-3) with a 26-yard TD run.
Hanover responded with a 27-yard field goal followed by a six-yard JJ Parker rushing TD that proved to be the difference.
Roberts rushed eight times for 69 yards. He went 7 of 11 passing for 97 yards. His top target was Kahne Southworth with four catches for 64 yards.
Tino Kovanes rushed eight times for 32 yards for Godwin. Camden Lockhart led the way on the defense with five tackles and two sacks.
Louisa County 34, Matoaca 13: Savion Hiter put on a show for the Lions (3-0) rushing for 276 yards and four TDs on 15 carries.
Tre Mills led the way for the Warriors (0-3) with 13 carries for 120 yards and a TD. He also caught a 16-yard pass.
Joshua Beasley added a 98-yard kickoff return TD for Matoaca that made it 21-13 in the third quarter before Louisa County ran away.
Atlee 42, J.R. Tucker 7: The Raiders (1-2) dominated on the ground with 320 yards against the Tigers (0-3).
Barrett Bucholz rushed six times for 103 yards and a TD for Atlee. Kaden Wright rushed 12 times for 86 yards and two TDs.
Scottie Tompkins single pass of the night went for a 75-yard TD to Ryan Martin.
No. 7 St. Christopher’s 17, Norfolk Academy 10: The Saints (4-0) remain undefeated after a win over the Bulldogs (3-1).
Chase Roberts threw for a 44-yard TD to JJ Tidwell and rushed for a 31-yard TD for the Saints. He finished 8 of 18 for 106 yards and a TD and rushed for 77 yards and a TD on 12 carries.
William Sterling hit a 31-yard FG to make it 17-0. The lone Bulldogs TD came with 21 seconds remaining.
Aiden White rushed 12 times for 97 yards for St. Christopher’s.
Darius Gray had seven tackles and two sacks in the win. Lance Clelland had four tackles and 3.5 TFLs.
Huguenot 56, Cosby 0: Randall Robinson rumbled 21 times for 202 yards and a TD, Charles Scott Jr. continued to put up prolific numbers, and the Falcons (2-1) blanked the visiting Titans (1-3).
After setting the Huguenot record for passing yards in a game last week, Scott Jr., just a sophomore, completed 17 of 27 pass attempts for 339 yards and four TDs. Junior WR Iveon Lewis, one of the area’s top prospects in the class of 2027, hauled in six receptions for 165 yards and a TD.
Najarn Bostic caught five passes for 81 yards and a pair of scores. Michigan recruit Markel Dabney rushed twice for 58 yards and a TD. The Falcons travel to 4-0 Midlothian next Friday for a marquee Dominion District showdown.
No. 3 Dinwiddie 42, Salem 0: The Generals (4-0) scored 21 points in the second quarter and 14 points in the third to beat the Spartans (0-4) at home.
In the win, QB Zion Boisseau was 12 of 16 passing for 207 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. He also rushed three times for 18 yards. Nyion Mason had three catches for 79 yards and two touchdowns.
The Generals host Central District rival Matoaca next week, kickoff set for 7 p.m.
No. 4 Manchester 54, Clover Hill 0: The Lancers (4-0) are still undefeated, beating Dominion District rival Clover Hill (0-4) at home.
Lancer QB Landon Abernethy was 12 of 20 passing for 162 yards and four touchdowns. Camden Chalkley led the team with two tackles for loss and had three total tackles.
Manchester is at Cosby next week, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. Clover Hill heads to James River on the same date and time.
Mechanicsville 61, John Marshall 0: Brennan Ball went off for 234 yards and four TDs on 23 rushes for the Mustangs (2-2).
Tate Edmondson added 15 carries for 100 yards and two TDs on the ground.
Cam Metzger went 6 of 7 for 122 yards, three TDs and an INT. Eli Maxie was the top receiver with three catches for 45 yards. Jermaine Broaddus, Damarion Wiggins and Trevor Queensberry each had a receiving TD.
KeVelle King went 7 of 21 for 84 yards and an INT for the Justices (0-4).
Armstrong 35, Goochland 7: Shadarus Pickett rushed for 122 yards and a TD on 15 carries as the the Wildcats (4-0) downed the Bulldogs (1-2).
Ronald Jackson added two carries for 53 yards and a TD.
Anthony Hansom went 14 of 23 for 154 yards, two TDs and an INT. Brendon Oliver had four catches for 81 yards and two TDs.
Donzell Jones-Teal had eight tackles (two for loss) for the Wildcats. Ronald Jackson, Ranaud Cherry (one TFL) and Devon Epps (3 TFLs) all had seven tackles.
No. 5 Highland Springs 35, South County 14: Senior lead back Eric Byrd carried 14 times for 67 yards and two TDs, and Jonathan Carter, Rodney Hicks and Antoine Richardson added a rushing TD apiece as the Springers (2-2) earned a road win over the Stallions (1-2).
A pair of Byrd TDs put the visitors up 14-0 in the first quarter. The home team responded with a 60-yard passing score to halve the deficit headed into the second period. But Richardson (10 rushes, 49 yards; 5 of 8 passing for 108 yards, TD) found pay dirt shortly before halftime for 21-7. Carter’s score made it 28-7 in the third period.
Then Richardson found Malik Bullock for a 35-yard TD connection to seal the deal. Bullock finished with a pair of receptions for 79 yards.
Caroline 35, King William 9: Caroline won its third-straight game to start the season behind 368 total yards and three touchdowns from senior quarterback Blake Morris.
Morris finished 12 of 16 passing for 309 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 59 yards and a score on five carries.
Morris connected with senior receiver Josiah Davis on an 80-yard bomb on fourth down with 41 seconds left in the first quarter to give the visiting Cavaliers (3-0) a 7-2 lead. Caroline didn’t look back as that play ignited a stretch of 35 unanswered points.
Davis finished with 152 receiving yards. He also hauled in a 42-yard reception that set up Morris’ 1-yard quarterback sneak for a 13-2 lead with 6:03 remaining in the second quarter.
After the visiting Cavaliers forced a missed field goal by King William (2-2) late in the first half, Morris found senior receiver Xavier Pryor (91 receiving yards) for a 68-yard catch and run for a score. The touchdown came with 1 second left before intermission and gave Caroline a 19-2 advantage at the break.
Caroline added two 1-yard plunges from senior running back Tre Coles in the second half.
King William provided the final margin with a 1-yard scoring run by quarterback Jackson Turnage with 3:14 to play.
Blessed Sacrament Huguenot 76, Massanutten Military Academy 12: Heath Case carried six times for 132 yards and three TDs, Chase Watkins rushed five times for 77 yards and a pair of scores, and Carter Cichowicz caught three passes for 65 yards and a house call to lead the Knights (4-1) past the visiting Colonels (0-4).
John Loftin returned a kickoff 47 yards for a TD for BSH. QB Brian Bodman completed 6 of 10 pass attempts for 121 yards and two TDs. Watkins added two receptions for 42 yards and a score.
