‘American Pickers’ star Mike Wolfe received warning from fans before terrible car crash

“American Pickers” fans received a big-time scare over the weekend when the show’s star, Mike Wolfe, was involved in a scary looking car crash in Tennessee.
Wolfe’s girlfriend, Leticia Cline, was with him and the two were hospitalized afterward. She appears to have received the worst of it, posting on Instagram that she is headed for a couple of surgeries.
While details surrounding the crash have yet to be released, and there is no evidence that the couple was at fault any way, it was not the first time this year that Wolfe has given his fans a scare when it comes to the road.
Back in July he and Cline shared a video to Instagram highlighting a road trip they took on their Harley Davidson motorcycles.
“Took an 8 hour ride and made it 14, backroads most of the way and a hell of a lot of rain in the last stretch, but it was worth it because the (Harley Davidson Homecoming Festival) is something you don’t want to miss. God bless America and (Harley Davidson),” he wrote.
There were plenty of clips of the couple zipping down the highway, and having a blast, but a couple cuts to the speedometer had fans wondering if Wolfe broke the law and otherstelling him to calm down and be a little safer out there.
So, how fast did he get up to?
Well, in one clip, he shows a speedometer reading of 107.
Now, at least one fan questioned whether that was kilometers per hour — in which case he would have been going a little more than 66 miles per hour — or miles per hour.
“Better slow that pony down,” one person wrote.
“Kind of stupid going that fast dude,” another wrote.
“Speeding on a motorcycle in the (rain) is not smart,” another wrote. “Gonna end up wrecking killing innocent people. Be safe not stupid to gain attention.”
“Why you acting like your 16?” another wrote. “Keep the speed down (clown emoji)!”
“Hope you had a good time,” another wrote. “Hit a vehicle at 107 and you will see St. Peter. Be careful.”
Others cheered it on, though.
“Dang that looks fun!!!!” one person wrote.
“Making good memories it’s all that matters,” another wrote.

Again, there is no indication that the couple was at fault in the latest crash, but people love “American Pickers,” and it is easy to understand why they might want Wolfe and Cline to take it easy out there.
The latest scare took place on Friday and Wolfe took to Instagram to share a few details.
“By the grace of God, we’re both safe and okay,” he wrote on Saturday. “We are both receiving excellent care, and while Leticia is still in the hospital, she is expected to make a full recovery. Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time, and we appreciate all of your love (and) prayers. God bless.”
Wolfe shared a picture of the blue car they were in that revealed just how smashed in the front end was.
“It’s been a rough nite, but now there’s light at the end of the tunnel,” he wrote. “I truly believe in the power of group players. Thank you to all of you that have sent them to us.”
Entertainment Weekly said that Cline also shared some updates to her Instagram on Saturday, and it sounds like she was pretty beat up in the crash.
“Hopefully I get surgery tomorrow,” she wrote. “Broken jaw (in a few places), broken ribs, sternum, collapsed lung, and a lot of swelling on my spine. My mouth will be wired shut, but I still got my brain, and that’s all that matters.”
She shared a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed with a neck brace on. Wolfe is also lying in a hospital bed next to hers.
Wolfe did not provide many details regarding his injuries, but “American Pickers” fans will surely be keeping an eye on the beloved show’s frontman and his recovery.
