Forget the usual celebrity promo posts, actress Tamannaah Bhatia and choreographer-director Farah Khan just gave fans a glimpse of their adorable bond and you may not want to miss it. The duo’s lighthearted exchange on Instagram Stories over the new song Ghafoor from Aryan Khan’s Netflix debut, The Ba**ds of Bollywood, is winning hearts online. Curious? Here we explain.
It all started when Farah posted a clip of Ghafoor on her Instagram Stories, writing, “What a trip this was?” She also tagged Tamannaah along with Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan in the post. Tamannaah, clearly touched, reposted it with a heartfelt note dedicated to Farah Khan. She wrote, “Feeling my glamorous best through your lens. A full dance song shot in a day is only possible because of you, Farah Khan.”
Farah Khan’s Playful Comeback
Farah added to the wholesome moment as she replied in her Stories, “Only with you Tamannaah, could have dared to finish this in a day.” Tamannaah reshared that too, adding cute heart and kiss emojis, showcasing a glimpse of their bond they formed behind the making of the song.
Tamannaah Bhatia’s much-anticipated number Ghafoor had fans on the edge of their seats before the release of Aryan Khan’s web series The Ba**ds of Bollywood. Expected to light up one of the seven episodes, viewers were left disappointed when the song didn’t appear in the final cut.
The song, featuring Bollywood’s iconic baddies Gulshan Grover, Shakti Kapoor and Ranjeet, introduces Ghafoor’s island. Tamannaah enters in a cage, looking fierce and glamorous, making hearts skip a beat with her stunning appearance and energetic moves.
Makers’ Clarification
Later, Red Chillies Entertainment stepped in to clear the air. The production house took to X to confirm that Ghafoor was never part of the series itself. It was created purely as a promotional video. Alongside a poster featuring Tamannaah, they wrote,“Ghafoor – Promotional Video Out Tomorrow.”
Cast And Star-Studded Cameos
The Ba**ds of Bollywood is written and directed by Aryan Khan and produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner. The series stars Lakshya and Sahher Bambba, with a supporting cast including Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Rajat Bedi, Gautami Kapoor and Manish Chaudhari.
The show also features guest appearances from Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan. It is streaming on Netflix.
