Ranveer Singh is currently busy with his high-octane gangster drama Dhurandhar, and with each update about the film, fans are getting more and more excited about what is in store for them this December. In the midst of the hype, it has now been reported that the production is in full swing and will wrap by October 15, 2025.
“The last leg of Dhurandhar shoot is going on in full swing, and Ranveer Singh wraps up his portions in the first week of October. The remaining star cast of the film will shoot for another 10 days and call it a film wrap by October 15,” Pinkvilla quoted a source as stating.
With Diwali approaching on October 20, it has also been heard that the makers are planning to kick off the promotional activities around the same time. As per the portal, “Around 65 percent of the edit is locked on the table, and the first copy of the film, outside of some technical touch-ups, is expected to be ready by the end of October.”
While Dhurandhar is currently eyeing a December 5 release, Raja Sahab starring Prabhas has also locked the same date, so there is a high chance of a grand box-office clash this December.
With the movie’s wrap expected in mid-October, Ranveer is planning to begin prep for his next actioner with Farhan Akhtar, Don 3, by the end of October. The source revealed,
“He will be having script reading sessions with Farhan, and also work with the action team. Big action sequences are being planned with Ranveer.”
Dhurandhar Plot
Reportedly, Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is based on true events. Even though details about the film’s plot are not known as of now, it is speculated that Ranveer Singh will be seen playing the role of an undercover spy in the movie. Reportedly, the film will present the bravery of India’s special agents in Pakistan. Dhurandhar features an ensemble cast led by Ranveer Singh, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal.

Ranveer Singh looks menacing in the first look from Dhurandhar. The actor, in long hair and with a smoke in his mouth, kills and beats in style like it’s no task. With upbeat music in the backdrop, the film offers a glimpse into the violence and gore in store. Apart from Ranveer, makers have also dropped first looks of the film’s other leading cast, comprising Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Akshaye Khanna. Arjun Rampal, who plays one of the key characters in the film, looks intriguing in a never-before-seen rugged avatar, sporting a golden tooth, vintage metallic shades, a dense grey beard, and classic raw expressions.
