Bills' Josh Allen Doesn't Hold Back on Drake Maye

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has shown many flashes of brilliance throughout the early portion of his NFL career thus far. And while he is far from a finished product, his play has made a fan out of his AFC East rival, Buffalo Bills star quarterback Josh Allen.Maye has largely looked impressive throughout the first two weeks of his second season in the NFL, completing 71 percent of his passes while throwing for 517 passing yards and three passing touchdowns on the year.Obviously, Josh Allen and Drake Maye will face off at least two times each season for the foreseeable future while the two remain with the Bills and Patriots, respectively. He is a fantastic kid, though. He plays the game the right way. He’s got a really good head on his shoulders. I’m a huge fan of his. I think we share the same agency, so we have been around each other a couple of times. But again, just a down-to-earth kid.”It’s certainly high praise for Maye to have the reigning MVP be a fan of his game. And it just shows that he certainly appears to be on the correct trajectory to become a true star at the NFL level.With both the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets starting the season winless, it seems like the Patriots are the most likely team to challenge the Bills in any capacity at the top of the AFC East.More news: Packers Receive Major Micah Parsons Update Ahead of Week 3Allen and Maye will face off for the first time in 2025 when the Patriots head to Highmark Stadium to face the Bills in Week 5.
