Wolves legend Steve Bull and ex-Albion striker Bob Taylor in Dudley for launch of Fun City - here's all you need to know

Bull, who scored a record 306 goals for Wolves during a 13-year stint at Molineux, and Taylor, who scored 113 goals for the Baggies, will mingle with fans and be interviewed on stage as part of the ‘Dudley Town Day’, organised to mark the launch of Fun City in the former museum and art gallery.

The event starts at midday in Stone Street Square, at the heart of the Hush Properties’ new leisure quarter, which also includes the recently relaunched Old Glasshouse pub and the Royal Keep Hotel, which is nearing completion.

The fun begins when the players host a meet-and-greet session at midday,.

The players will then take to the stage at 12.30pm, ahead of an interview at 12.45pm.

At 1.30pm, free T-shirts will be blasted into the crowds from a cannon, and there will be a penalty shoot-out and other entertainments.

At 2.30pm, Bull and Taylor will go on a walkabout to meet the fans, ahead of the opening ceremony at 3pm. BBC sports presenter and freestyle football world champion Liv Cooke will cut the ribbon at 3pm.

Admission to Fun City itself will be restricted to people with ‘golden tickets’, which will be given away in competitions held throughout the day.

Fun City director Paul Andrews said there would be a varied programme of entertainment throughout the day, including a fire display and stilt walkers, with Black Country Radio acting as event hosts.
