The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is conducting the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination today. It is the fifth day of the sarkari exam and candidates who appeared in exam rated it ‘moderate’. While reasoning and quantitative aptitude were considered the highest-scoring sections, many examinees described English as lengthy and time-consuming. To be noted that the sarkari exam is being conducted in three shifts at multiple centres across India. As reported by the candidates on platform X, the mathematics section stood out as the easiest. Reasoning was rated moderate, while English drew mixed reviews. Sharing his experience, one candidate said that his computer restarted three times, but no extra time was given. Other student called reasoning and mathematics very easy. Were SSC CGL Exams Actually Cancelled?Since the commencement of the exam, many candidates reported technical issues, including computer systems shutting down. Many Delhi NCR students claimed that the exams were postponed at their centres. The SSC has denied claims of large-scale cancellations and clarified that only 25 shifts were affected due to technical glitches. SSC CGL Tier 1 sarkari exam is being conducted at 227 centres in 129 cities. Over 27 lakh candidates got themselves registered to appear in the exam. So far, 3,01,722 candidates have taken their examinations smoothly. Out of a total of 2,435 shifts planned across all the centres, only 25 shifts in some centres have been cancelled to date. All 7,705 affected candidates have already been rescheduled for alternate dates, the officials said. SSC officials assured students that the examination process remains on track. “Only a small number of shifts have been affected, and all impacted candidates have already been given alternate dates,” the statement said.
