American Association of University Women host book sale

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – For all of the book fans in the area, the American Association of University Women, or AAUW, used book sale has officially kicked off.
Last year, the nonpartisan organization raised almost $13,000 with all of the books being donated from the community.
On Friday, over 160 people lined up getting first picks of their favorite books, going toward AAUW’s mission of achieving gender equity through education.
“Thousands, thousands. Hundreds of tables worth of books and we have some tables where there’s books still underneath that we can’t get on the tables,” said Margot Bouchard, the dual program director, AAUW-Eau Claire.
The book sale goes from Friday to Sunday, offering books in various categories. All of the proceeds will go to high education scholarships at UWEC and CVTC.
