Logitech Unveils Low-Profile Analog Keyboard With Rapid Trigger

Logitech has added two new products to its gaming lineup, both aimed at very different players. The first is a low-profile keyboard with analog switching, perfect for the enthusiast. The second is a wireless headset designed for minimal fuss. These announcements came at the brand’s Play 2025 showcase, with the keyboard joining the G5 run of products and the headset in the G3 Series. The keyboard, the G515 Rapid TKL, is a tenkeyless board that brings analog control to a slimmed down chassis. Now, this isn’t the first time the tech company has made such a thing. The G915 owned by this very writer was a brilliant start in this niche. But the new keyboard uses magnetic analog switches, meaning actuation can be tuned in tin 0.1 mm steps. This allows users to change the sensitivity of the buttons. Gamers can turn it up to allow for quick trigger usage, but typists can tune it down for more reliable typing with fewer accidental mistakes. On top of this, the switches support rapid trigger behaviour for snappy inputs, but firmware allows keys to do different jobs depending on travel parameters. What a good idea. The chassis has a stainless steel top plate for rigidity, and double-shot PBT keycaps make it more durable. The switches also come lubricated. It ships in black of white and and is available now at $169.99 USD.As part of the G5 Series, it uses Logitech’s questionable G HUB software. But this does mean it can link with the likes of the G502 mouse and LIGHTSPEED headsets – light and control syncing is all up for grabs here.Of course, if you don’t want to mess with software and just crack on with some gaming, the new G321 LIGHTSPEED wireless headset is for you. Priced at $599.99 USD and ready for release in October, it boasts a number of solid features: a thick-padded headband, memory foam earcups, breathable fabric, a flip-to-mute microphone with 16 kHz capture range, and good microphone quality thanks to the brand’s high-performance drivers. It will also be offered in black or white.
