Josh Allen Gushes Over Wife Hailee After Historic Bills Win

The Buffalo Bills remain undefeated after taking down the Miami Dolphins 31-21 in Week 3.
While the AFC East showdown proved to be a tighter matchup than expected, Bills quarterback Josh Allen completed 78.6% of his passes for 213 yards, three touchdowns, and zero turnovers against Miami.
His final score, connecting with Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir during the fourth quarter, marked his 200th career touchdown, making him the sixth-fastest player (114 games) to achieve that feat in NFL history.
Allen is also now 8-0 on Thursday Night Football, which ties NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning for the second-most consecutive Thursday wins in NFL history. New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson and Tom Brady are the only quarterbacks with longer streaks (9).
“It’s taken an army to get here,” Allen said of his success on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Friday, September 19. Going from a high school player with no Division I offers to where he is now, “There’s a lot of people in my life that I can thank and played their part in what’s going on.”

“I wouldn’t say we run lines,” Allen told McAfee. “I mean, she reads all her scripts by herself, and she’ll give me some updates on them. But we will, at some point, just go off and do some improv stuff.” Steinfeld already has her next film lined up, starring opposite Miles Teller in a romantic sports comedy, “Winter Games.”
“My wife, she’s an absolute stud,” the Bills star continued. “She’s the best, what can I say?”
Speaking to ESPN before his historic game against the Dolphins, Allen reiterated the importance of his marriage and where that ranks amid winning MVP and other career successes.
“They’ve all been big, none other than marrying my best friend,” Allen said. “And she makes everything easier, so I don’t really focus on the other stuff. That was the most important decision I’ll make in my life, and I made the right one.”

During an appearance on Wave Original’s “Fitz & Whit” podcast with Ryan Fitzpatrick and Andrew Whitworth on September 3, Allen continued to hype his better half.
“It’s the best,” Allen said of being a married man. “Honestly. I truly, I enjoy it, I love it. I think there’s a lot of freedom in it. And you know what? We’re always going to be in the honeymoon phase. How about that?…
“Going to Paris or Italy for fashion weeks, nobody over there knows who I am and we walk into a hotel and people are lined up trying to get photos, autographs and pictures and yeah, it’s pretty crazy. She’s a freaking rockstar. I love her and I don’t know how she does it, but she does it.”
