“I’m Not Feeling Good”: Terry Bradshaw Makes Nervous Plea for Fans to Show Up at His Event
From a four-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback to the longtime co-host of Fox NFL Sunday since 1994, and an author of several books, including It’s Only A Game and Keep It Simple, Terry Bradshaw is now stepping into a whole new arena. He co-authored a family cookbook titled The Bradshaw Family Cookbook.
But for some reason only he knew, Bradshaw isn’t feeling good. After the book came out on September 16, Bradshaw, along with his wife, Tammy Bradshaw, daughter Lacey Hester, and son-in-law, Noah Hester, were heading to New Jersey for a book signing event on September 18.
But the NFL legend revealed that he wasn’t feeling good in a clip shared by his son-in-law. “Hello America, Chef Noah Hester here,” Noah said in the video via his Instagram handle. “We are headed to New Jersey for a book signing event. Terry (Bradshaw) is a little bit concerned that he won’t have any fans there.

“I know all have at least 15 people that show up for me, so a few people could show up for Terry so that he doesn’t feel left out. That would be really fantastic. I know there’ll be another two to three hundred more for Tammy (Bradshaw) there, but Terry’s very concerned.”
In a smart, funny, and light roast of Terry, Noah then asked the Steelers‘ legend if he had any thoughts on feeling a bit concerned. In his response, Terry revealed nervously, “I’m not feeling good about this afternoon. I’ve lost my…fan base. Just a couple cookbooks, but if you’ll show up, I appreciate it. I’m really nervous.”

Someone has to remind Bradshaw that he’s a superstar. Whether it was on the field during his quarterbacking days, in the studio as a sports analyst, or on stage running “The Terry Bradshaw Show,” the 77-year-old has never felt nervous. He’s never had to request anyone to show up. The fans come on their own, eager to watch Terry perform.
But the book signing event that took place at Bookends Bookstore (211 East Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood, N.J.) on September 18, Terry somehow felt nervous. The reason? That’s something only Terry knows. What we do know is that after his NFL career, Terry has struggled with anxiety attacks. And yes, he often feels nervous before appearing at public events.
Terry Bradshaw and ‘The Bradshaw Family Cookbook’
Terry Bradshaw’s passions aren’t only about football, music, or the entertainment world. Turns out, the NFL legend has teamed up with his family to bring his love for cooking to life. Yes, through The Bradshaw Family Cookbook. The cookbook was released on September 16.
The 272-page hardcover edition is co-authored by Terry, his wife Tammy, daughters Rachel and Lacey Hester, and son-in-law Noah Hester, with contributions from James Beard Award-winning cookbook author James O. Fraioli.
“Food and family go hand in hand for us Bradshaws,” Terry said. “We’re loud, we joke around a lot, and we sure know how to eat. This cookbook is all about sharing those moments – the stories, the laughs, and the flavors that make our kitchen the heart of our home. Whether you’re flipping a steak on the grill or digging into a big ol’ plate of Bradshaw beans, you’re getting a taste of what it means to be part of our family.”

The cookbook offers nearly 100 recipes that celebrate the flavors, traditions, and laughter that define the Bradshaw family’s kitchen. It features a variety of dishes, including Braised Korean Short Ribs, Smoked Maple-Bourbon Pork Belly Bites, and Baked Eggplant Parmesan, you name it, reflecting the family’s love for good food and their Southern heritage.
That said, Terry Bradshaw’s nervousness during the book signing event was palpable. But let’s just say his fanbase had probably shown up after Bradshaw requested them.
