Several Cubs received an array of awards at a recent ceremony, with Novi Butler and Jahiem Harvey earning Certificates of Attendance from the 107th Lions Clubs International Convention held in Orlando, July 2025.
Other Cubs received their Community Service Certificates and Pins in honour of their commitment to service, learning, and growth.
“Our Leos and Cubs also enjoyed attending the Back-to-School Bingo Pool Party,” read a Lions Clubs of Bermuda social media post.
“A fun-filled afternoon of fellowship, laughter, and Lionistic spirit to kick off the new school year!
“A heartfelt thank you to our Lions and all those who generously donated items to make this celebration possible. Your support helped create a memorable experience for our youth.
“We are so proud of our young Lions for embracing the spirit of service, leadership, and community. Together, they are the future of Lionism!”
The Hamilton Lions Club launched the island’s first Cubs programme, which teaches youngsters the joy of volunteering and the importance of helping others, in October 2023.
The programme is for youngsters aged four to 12. The Leos Club is youngsters aged 12 and above.
