Gardai in Donegal are appealing to people to not to put their life or the lives of others at risk by making it difficult for other road users to see them.
Pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists are urged to wear high visibility clothing when out on the roads.
Drivers meanwhile, are urged to be alert and to slow down so they are in a position to stop suddenly and safely if they need to.
