BJP leader Amit Malviya took a sharp dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi calling ABVP’s win a “harshest reality check” for the Rae Bareli MP. He noted that the only seat secured by the NSUI, the Vice President’s position, was won by a former ABVP activist. Malviya described this result as a harsh reality check for Rahul Gandhi, emphasising the GenZ generation’s admiration for a self-made, inspiring leader like Prime Minister Modi over the perceived entitlement of dynastic politics represented by Rahul Gandhi.
While BJP’s National President JP Nadda congratulated the youth wing of the national party on winning the posts of President, Secretary, and Joint Secretary in the DUSU elections. He emphasised that guided by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, ABVP has always inspired the youth with a spirit of nationalism and selfless service. According to Nadda, this victory demonstrates that the message of “Nation First” resonates with today’s young generation, who will lead India towards a promising and strong future.
