    Karan Johar Is Obsessed With Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh’s New Song From Gustaakh Ishq

    A brand-new song from Gustaakh Ishq, starring Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh, has been unveiled and it has already found a fan in none other than filmmaker Karan Johar. Titled Ul Jalool Ishq, the romantic track has soulful music, heartfelt lyrics and visuals that bring alive the mood of love and longing.
    Karan took to social media to share his excitement about the new release. He reposted the makers’ announcement on his Instagram Stories and wrote, “Ever since I have heard this song, have been obsessing about it…Love it! Gulzarsaab is an ultimate legend… Vishal is a maestro of melody… so much love to Manish Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Vijay Verma and STAGE5 Production.”

    Ul Jalool Ishq: The New Love Anthem
    Ul Jalool Ishq is composed by Vishal Bhardwaj and sung by Shilpa Rao and Papon. The lyrics are written by Gulzar. The music video gives a glimpse into the onscreen world of Gustaakh Ishq. It opens with Vijay and Fatima getting ready in front of a mirror. The sequence then moves to them sneaking into a closed property where they share tea as the sun sets in the distance.
    The makers released the video with the caption, “Do dilon ke court mein, muqadama hai ishq. #UlJaloollshq Song Out Now. #GustaakhIshq releasing in cinemas worldwide on 21st November 2025.”

    Gutaakh Ishq’s Backdrop
    Directed by Vibhu Puri, Gustaakh Ishq is set in the narrow lanes of Purani Dilli and the old kothis of Punjab. It is a story of love, desire and emotions that are often left unsaid. The architecture adds to the feeling of memory and longing. Alongside Vijay and Fatima, the film also stars Naseeruddin Shah.
    Manish Malhotra Turns Producer
    Designer Manish Malhotra is making his debut as a producer with this project under his banner Stage5 Production. In an interview with IANS, the designer spoke about this new journey, saying, “My love for cinema began in childhood. The silver screen was my doorway to the world…watching colours, clothes, music, and lifestyles unfold in cinema halls shaped my imagination and inspired me to become a designer. Today, stepping into film production feels like my way of giving back to the medium that has given me everything. With Stage5 Production, the journey ahead is about embracing the unexpected; through stories, genres, and films that continue to surprise and inspire.”
    Gustaakh Ishq will be released in cinemas worldwide on November 21.
