    DUSU Election 2025: ABVP's Aryan Maan, A Hansraj College Graduate, Wins President Poll

    The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) student wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) which nominated Aryan Maan for the position of student union president in the 2025 Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections has won the race this year. His campaign prioritises student welfare and campus development, with key promises such as subsidised metro passes, free Wi-Fi, accessibility audits, upgraded sports facilities, and financial support for final-year research scholars.     Aryan Maan hails from Bahadurgarh, Haryana. His family is involved in the liquor business and has been active in Haryana politics. His late grandfather, Shrichand Mann, was the head of the Lova Satrah Khap for many years. His father, Sikandar Mann, is a notable liquor businessman and serves as the executive director of the ADS Spirits Private Limited liquor factory in Beri, Jhajjar.
