The former Kangaroos representative prop is set to be the London Broncos’ biggest signing yet after he was granted permission by the Titans to negotiate with rival clubs.
The former Penrith forward still had two seasons remaining on his contract with the Titans, but the two parties are going through a divorce after Campbell-Gillard struggled to recapture the form he showed at the Panthers and Eels.

The 32-year-old played all 24 games for the Titans this season, but has been squeezed out by a club desperate to return to finals football after years at the bottom of the ladder.
The split was confirmed by Alira this week when she posted a message on Facebook Marketplace advertising a free bag of Titans gear that was being left on the front lawn of the couple’s Gold Coast home.
“Any Gold Coast Titans supporters want a travel bag filled with 2025 training gear,” she posted alongside a photo of a Titans suitcase.
The post certainly had plenty of fans clamouring for the merchandise, but it appeared to be quickly snapped up with Alira later adding a line to the post: “All gone. Thanks everyone.”
Alira also seemingly confirmed the pair were shipping out of the Gold Coast region with a second post on the Gold Coast Community Facebook page in September advertising free furniture to pick up off the pair’s front lawn.
The Titans are in serious need of a roster overhaul following the end of former coach Des Hasler’s reign.
New coach Josh Hannay is inheriting a roster that is loaded with representative forwards he no longer needs.
The Titans earlier this week announced seven players are leaving the club.
Campbell-Gillard was not one of those listed, but it has been widely reported London Broncos’ part-owner Darren Lockyer has his eyes on bringing “RCG” to the Super League.
Lockyer has promised to bring big-name players to London as the club pushes for Super League promotion.
“If we are in the Super League, we will get cracking on building a roster. We are already talking to people now,” Lockyer told English media.
“We have a coach who is already committed, subject to being in the Super League, and he is an ex-NRL coach.
“Jason Demetriou has been our target.”
