He’s charming the nation on weekend mornings and now, Eric Roberts is proving he has the Midas touch in the business world too!
The Donegal influencer, who recently joined Ireland AM, is celebrating as his company banked a profit over €80,000 in its first year according to the Irish Independent.
The 34-year-old has had a whirlwind few years. during lockdown his comedy sketches went viral, earning him a following of over one million fans across TikTok and Instagram.
While Eric might be the main face of his social channels, it’s his wife teacher Niamh who he credits as being the ‘brains’ behind the operation and as it turns out, they actually first met through a love of performing.
The couple had quite the start to 2025, welcoming their son on New Year’s Day,
His quick wit has made him an instant star, prompting him to take a leap of faith in 2023. He left his job as a special-needs assistant to pursue content creation and presenting full-time—and it has clearly paid off.
Last week, he was announced as the new weekend co-host of Virgin Media’s Ireland AM, joining Martin King and Elaine Crowley after the departure of SÃomha NÃ Ruairc.
Newly filed accounts for his company, Eric Roberts Ltd, show the company, which lists ‘artistic creation’ as its main activity, posted a profit of €80,473 for the 2024 financial year.
The accounts reveal current assets of €122,565.
On top of his TV gig and creating content, Eric has also been busy as a brand ambassador for major companies like Kia Ireland and Letterkenny-based sports tour agency, Champions Ireland.
Eric and his family are now relocating to Dublin for the forseable so he can work on the show.
