The four Asian giants—India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh—are ready to lock horns for a ticket to the grand finale. India, under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav, was the first to storm into the Super Four from Group A. They remain unbeaten so far and will play their final group match against Oman in Abu Dhabi on Friday, September 19.
Pakistan joined them from Group A in the Super Four stage after a commanding 41-run win over the UAE to ensure another India vs Pakistan clash in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai. In their previous game, India had defeated Pakistan by seven wickets, and the “no-handshake” controversy broke out.

From Group B, Sri Lanka emerged as the most dangerous force, winning all three of their matches with ease. Their unbeaten run crushed Afghanistan’s hopes and allowed Bangladesh to sneak into the Super Four. Bangladesh may have struggled earlier, but their fighting spirit has kept them alive in the tournament.

The Super Four stage will kick off on Saturday, September 20, in Dubai with Sri Lanka taking on Bangladesh in the first game. Then, the fiery clash between India and Pakistan is scheduled for September 21 in Dubai. Pakistan will then face Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi on September 23.
However, Bangladesh faces the biggest challenge, as they will have to play back-to-back games against India on September 24 and Pakistan on September 25 in Dubai. India and Sri Lanka will play the final game of the Super Four stage on September 26 in Dubai.
Asia Cup 2025 Super Four format
Meanwhile, the format for the Super Four round remains a round-robin format. Each team will face the other three times, with the top two in the table advancing to the Asia Cup 2025 Final. No points from the group stage will be carried forward, and net run rate will play a big role when the points are tied.
Teams will get two points for a win and one for a no result. Well, the match that has the whole world waiting is the blockbuster India vs Pakistan encounter on September 21 at the Dubai International Stadium. This rematch promises fireworks under the floodlights after the “no-handshake” saga.
The final of the Asia Cup 2025 will be played on September 28 in Dubai, where the two best sides of the Super Four will battle for ultimate glory.
