Bomb Squad Probes Suspicious Package at Turning Point USA HQ Ahead of Charlie Kirk Funeral

Bomb squad in Phoenix are assessing reports of a suspicious package at Turning Point USA’s headquarters on Wednesday, prompting heightened security just days before memorial service for conservative activist Charlie Kirk. While officials have not yet confirmed the nature of the item or any threat, police and emergency crews are reportedly on scene as a precaution. According to a report by The Hill, President Trump and Vice President Vance will deliver remarks this Sunday at the memorial service for the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA announced Tuesday. Trump and Vance, who previously confirmed they would be attending the memorial, will be joined by a slate of other high-profile figures announced as speakers at the massive gathering. Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, will deliver remarks at the memorial. Earlier on Sunday, a memorial for political activist Charlie Kirk at Turning Point USA’s Phoenix headquarters was vandalised and a suspect, Ryder Corral, 19, has been arrested. “Officers were directed to a man who was seen damaging a community memorial in front of a business near 48th Street and Beverly Road. Officers were in the area to assist with traffic control due to a large community presence in the area following recent events,” said Phoenix Police Sgt. Phil Krynsky. Charlie Kirk’s Last Recorded Video Surfaces Charlie Kirk’s final recorded video has been made public just days ahead of his large memorial service in Arizona. Turning Point Action COO Tyler Bowyer shared the clip on X, saying, “This is the last video that we had Charlie record before he was taken from us.” Bowyer explained that he chose to release it on National Voter Registration Day to honour Kirk’s message. Turning Point founder, in the video, urged Arizona residents to register to vote ahead of the 2026 governor’s race. “It’s game time, Arizona, but you can’t make plays if you’re not on the team,” Kirk said, adding, “Register to vote now and lock in your early voting game plan. 2026 is Arizona’s Championship game and we need our whole team on the field.” He further said, “Next year’s Arizona election is our chance to turn the game around and it starts with you getting ready to vote. Arizona’s counting on you to bring home the win.” Get Latest News Live on Times Now along with Breaking News and Top Headlines from US News and around the World.
