Kate Middleton turns to Boden's 'so soft' cashmere top for latest autumnal look

Kate Middleton is renowned for her high-end fashion choices, often opting for designer labels such as Alexander McQueen and Alessandra Rich for official engagements. However, she’s also known to mix in a few high street brands, with Boden being a long-standing favourite.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been spotted wearing pieces from the affordable brand since 2018, when she donned a vibrant red Boden coat during a hospital visit. Just last week, she once again turned to this reliable brand during her visit to Marina Mill. Kate chose to wear Boden’s Eva Cashmere T-shirt layered under a Bella Freud check blazer, seamlessly blending designer with high street for a stylish outcome.

While Kate’s black version of the T-shirt isn’t currently available on the brand’s website, there are plenty of sizes in a similar charcoal shade. Other colour options include neutral, pink or purple– all of which are still in stock. The Eva Cashmere T-shirt offers an update on a classic shape with the added luxury of pure cashmere. In the charcoal shade, it presents a timeless, neutral look that works across seasons, reports the Mirror.

The relaxed fit sits neatly between the waist and hip, offering an easy-to-wear silhouette. Whether paired with tailored pieces or denim, it layers effortlessly and feels comfortable worn alone. Cosy and versatile, it’s a wardrobe staple that will see you through season after season.

Though it’s priced at £129, which might seem steep for a t-shirt, pure cashmere does come with a cost like this, even if the item is from a more affordable brand. If you’re shopping around, you can get a similarly priced version of Kate’s tee from The White Company for £120 in a gorgeous deep wine shade, or M&S offers an alpaca blend knit tee for a more affordable £46 in a charcoal colourway.

In other Kate news, she also recently headed out to a rugby match looking as polished as ever, and while her outfit was, of course, spot on, it was her jewellery that really caught our eye. Nestled under her sleek hair were a pair of Cartier’s famous Trinity earrings. which will set you back £1,630 on Selfridges.

However, you don’t need a Royal budget to get the look. High street favourite H. Samuel has a pair of hoops that are strikingly similar, and they’ll cost you £169. Made from 9ct gold, the earrings feature the same trio of tones – yellow, white and rose – twisted together in a way that instantly reminds us of Kate’s luxury pair.
