Amazon and Flipkart have announced their much-anticipated Diwali sales – The Great Indian Festival and the Big Billion Days Sale, both starting on September 23, 2025.
Much like the Black Friday sale in the US, the Diwali sale season is for Indian festive shoppers that’s announced by most e-commerce players. Amazon and Flipkart, two of the most prominent names, have announced their respective sales for this year. Starting on September 23 (with an early access to premium members), the Amazon Great Indian Festival and the Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale are a great opportunity to stock up on phones, clothes, and other essential items.
