Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin’s daughter Apple has just landed a huge modelling gig.
The 21-year-old has just become the face of London-based fashion brand self-portrait.
In a nod to the brand’s name, the news was announced on Apple’s Instagram account with a series of selfies.
“I’m so excited to be the new Miss self-portrait and for the campaign to come out,” Apple said, in a short video, wearing jeans and a baby tee from the brand.
The brand was established in the UK in 2013 by Malaysian designer Han Chong, and the company is best known for making modern occasionwear for day and night.
Apple is joining a list of huge names who have modelled for the brand, which includes Emily Ratajkowski, Gigi Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Irina Shayk, Bella Hadid, Kate Moss, Jisoo and Phoebe Dynenvor.
In other news, the husband of Kristin Cabot, the Astronomer HR executive caught in an intimate moment with her company’s chief executive Andy Byron during a Coldplay concert, has broken his silence for the first time.
Cabot and Byron shot to viral infamy in July when a kiss cam at the band’s Boston show captured them wrapped around each other before they hastily pulled apart as they appeared on the giant screen.
The clip fuelled speculation of an affair and ultimately led to both resigning from their roles at the tech firm.
Last week it emerged that Cabot had filed for divorce from her husband, Andrew, on August 13.
Now, however, a spokesperson for Mr Cabot has told People magazine that the couple had already separated before the incident.
“They were privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert,” the spokesperson said.“
Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening. Now that the filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they have always valued. No further public comment will be made.”
Neither Kristin Cabot nor Byron has commented directly on the nature of their relationship.
The awkward scene unfolded on July 16 when Byron was filmed with his arms around Cabot’s waist before the pair recoiled as their embrace was broadcast to thousands of fans.
Cabot covered her face while Byron crouched down in a failed attempt to dodge the camera.
Even Coldplay frontman Chris Martin could not resist remarking from the stage: “Oh, what… Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy. I’m not quite sure what to do.”
