Every NFL expert wants you to believe their weekly power rankings are the only rankings that matter. We’re no different. We think our power rankings are the only rankings you should ever read.
But that’s not reality. We all want as much information as we can get our hands on to fuel the debate. Sites like Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic have tapped into this endless thirst for pop culture ratings. So why not do it for the football fan?
That’s the mission behind our new feature, the NFL UberRankings.

In addition to the ES power rankings, we’ve compiled each team’s ranking from The Athletic, Bleacher Report, ESPN, NFL.com, Pro Football Focus, Pro Football Talk, Sports Illustrated and Yahoo! to give you a full look at the range of NFL experts’ opinions on where your team stands in the bigger picture.

Range breakdown: SI has the Carolina Panthers dead last at 32. Five outlets, including ES, have Carolina at No. 31. NFL.com has the Panthers rated the highest at No. 29.
Range breakdown: Five sites have the New Orleans Saints bringing up the rear at No. 32. On the high side, The Athletic and SI both have the Saints at No. 28.
Range breakdown: Four outlets, including ES, have the Miami Dolphins at No. 32. Pro Football Focus is the most optimistic about the Dolphins (No. 26)
Range breakdown: Three sites, including us, have the Cleveland Browns at No. 30. NFL.com and PFT have Cleveland at No. 31, while The Athletic has the Browns at No. 27.
Range breakdown: PFF has the Tennessee Titans at No. 31. Three sites (NFL.com, SI and CBS.com) have Tennessee at No. 30. PFT is highest on the Titans, putting them at No. 25.
Range breakdown: Five sites have the New York Giants at No. 27. PFF thinks the least of the G-Men (No. 31), while we at ES are highest on the Giants (No. 25).
Range breakdown: CBS.com has the New York Jets at No. 29. Three sites have the Jets at No. 28, and we at ES are once again the highest (No. 24). No New York bias here, we’re just glass-half-full on their chances.
Range breakdown: ES thinks the least of the Chicago Bears (No. 27). Four sites have Chicago at No. 25, while PFF has the Bears as high as No. 21.
Range breakdown: NFL.com ranks the New England Patriots the lowest (No. 25). Four sites have New England at No. 24. We at ES have the Pats the highest at No. 22.
Range breakdown: We’re not buying what the Jacksonville Jaguars are selling (No. 27). Three sites each have the Jags at No. 23 and No. 19.
Range breakdown: CBS.com currently thinks the least of the Las Vegas Raiders (No. 25). Four sites have Las Vegas at No. 24. The Athletic and B/R have the Raiders the highest at No. 20.
Range breakdown: Yahoo! is lowest on the Dallas Cowboys (No. 23). Two sites each have Dallas at Nos. 19, 22 and 23. We are encouraged by the Cowboys the most (No. 18).
Range breakdown: CBS and ESPN both have the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 21. Five sites have Pittsburgh at No. 20. B/R is the high outlier for the Steelers at No. 13.
Range breakdown: We think the least of the Minnesota Vikings (No. 23). PFF is highest on Minnesota at No. 13.
Range breakdown: CBS is lowest on the Houston Texans (No. 23). PFT are B/R are most optimistic on the Texans (No. 15).
Range breakdown: SI is least enthused about the Arizona Cardinals (No. 21). Three sites are highest on the Cards, with Yahoo!, PFF and CBS all at No. 14.
Range breakdown: B/R has the Seattle Seahawks currently the lowest (No. 21). Three sites (ES, NFL.com and SI) all have the Seahawks at No. 14.
Range breakdown: PFT is lowest on the Atlanta Falcons (No. 20). Three sites have the Dirty Birds at No. 15.
Range breakdown: Some wild swings here, as PFF is all-out on the Cincinnati Bengals (No. 25, down 12 spots). Both ESPN and The Athletic have the Bengals at No. 12.
Range breakdown: We have the Denver Broncos the lowest (No. 15). NFL.com has the Broncos the highest at No. 10.
Range breakdown: B/R currently thinks the least of the Indianapolis Colts (No. 17). Three sites (ES, CBS and The Athletic) have the Colts at No. 10.
Range breakdown: NFL.com has the San Francisco 49ers ranked the lowest (No.13). SI and CBS are highest on the 49ers (No. 8).
Range breakdown: The Athletic is most out on the Kansas City Chiefs right now (No. 13). PFF still has the most hope for the Chiefs (No. 6).
Range breakdown: Yahoo! is lowest on the Washington Commanders heading into Week 3 (No. 13). CBS is most bullish on the Commanders (No. 6).
Range breakdown: SI and PFF are most cautious on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (No. 11). CBS is most excited about the Bucs (No. 4).
Range breakdown: CBS has the Los Angeles Rams at No. 9. Seven sites have the Rams at No. 7. B/R is most bullish on Los Angeles (No. 5).
Range breakdown: The Detroit Lions are another team with wild opinion swings. CBS has the Lions at No. 12, with four sites all placing Detroit at No. 5.
Range breakdown: NFL.com is least excited about the Los Angeles Chargers (No. 9). The Athletic ranks the Bolts the highest (No. 4).
Range breakdown: CBS and The Athletic both have the Baltimore Ravens at No. 5. We have our first No. 1 sighting, as PFF has the Ravens atop their rankings.
Range breakdown: Every site likes the Green Bay Packers, with NFL.com and PFF lowest at No. 4 and Yahoo! and The Athletic both ranking the Packers at No. 1.
Range breakdown: It’s technically a tie for the top UberRank. The Athletic is the lone team to have the Buffalo Bills at No. 3. ES, SI and ESPN all have the Bills at No. 1.
