Six Injured As Parking Dispute Escalates Into A Fight In Delhi, FIR Lodged

At least six people got injured in a fight that stemmed from a parking dispute. In North-East Delhi’s Subhash Park area under the Welcome Police Station, an argument between two groups turned violent. Police have registered an FIR and are searching for the accused.
As per the victims, people from the other group allegedly attacked them. The victims claim that the attackers were intoxicated, used abusive language, and assaulted them using stones and iron rods.
They further alleged that the accused’s pet dog bit one of the victims during the altercation.
All six injured individuals were taken to the hospital, where five have been discharged after treatment. The Delhi Police has registered an FIR in the case and has launched a search for the accused. The investigation is underway.
Earlier, in August, two men got injured during a parking dispute in west Delhi’s Subhash Nagar area. The incident took place on August 20 around 9:30 pm and an FIR was also lodged.
As per a report by PTI, the altercation began when Ramit Malhotra, a manager at a private bank, and his wife, Ishita Khullar, requested Wazir Singh, a third-floor resident, to relocate his ‘wrongly’ parked vehicle. Initially, Wazir complied after a brief exchange of words, but the situation escalated when his son, Sahaj Singh, arrived and started arguing with Malhotra. According to the police, this led to a physical confrontation.
Sahaj subsequently called his associates, Amandeep (32), Hashmeet (27), and Sachin, which further escalated the conflict. The fight resulted in injuries to Malhotra and his neighbour, Sandeep. The accused also sustained minor injuries and were treated at DDU Hospital.
