Mangaluru to host fifth edition of KDEM’s Technovanza

The fifth edition of the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission’s (KDEM) Technovanza — Mangaluru Technovanza 2025 — will be held in Mangaluru on September 24.

Representatives from technology, manufacturing, business and academia will participate in this initiative of KDEM under the ‘Beyond Bengaluru’ vision.

This year’s edition will see more than 600 delegates, around 40 global speakers, more than 70 start-ups, 33 showcases, seven product launches, three fund-ready start-ups, 20-plus investors, three incubators, seven new companies, four country partners and more than 60 Global Capability Centres (GCCs) converging in Mangaluru.

Quoting Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, CEO of KDEM, a media statement said, “Mangaluru Technovanza 2025 is more than a conference, it is a statement of intent. The coastal city is fast emerging as India’s most dynamic tech cluster, where talent and industry converge to create a sustainable ecosystem of innovation and inclusive growth. With its unique advantages from a world-class talent pipeline to port-led infrastructure and global connectivity, Mangaluru is redefining what the future of work, life and technology can look like. Through Technovanza, we are not only amplifying Coastal Karnataka’s role in India’s $1 trillion digital economy vision, but also unlocking a new wave of opportunities for startups, GCCs and next-gen careers to thrive from this region.”

Rohith Bhat, Lead Anchor, Mangaluru Cluster of KDEM, said Mangaluru is at a pivotal stage in its journey to becoming India’s next global tech destination. With the development of world-class infrastructure to attract technology companies and data centres, the establishment of Centres of Excellence in emerging technologies, and the invitation to GCCs to expand here, the city is laying a strong foundation for the future.
