Shocking! Miscreants vandalise and  loot computer institution, threaten to kill owner in Odisha’s Ganjam

Chatrapur: In a shocking incident, a computer institution was vandalised and looted by unidentified miscreants on Monday night. The miscreants then set the institution on fire. The incident has taken place in the Old police line under Chatrapur police station in Ganjam district.

According to information, unidentified miscreants looted a private computer institution and then set it ablaze. The fire destroyed properties worth lakhs of rupees. They also threatened to kill the owner of the computer institution.

Reportedly, several computers, documents, AC and other furniture were reduced to ashes as the fire engulfed it. Before setting the institution on fire, they vandalised the computers and stole away the hard disk from the systems.

The miscreants wrote down a threatening message in one of the glass doors of the institution, threatening the owner.

The locals witnessed the burnt condition of the institution and informed the owner, the fire tenders and the police. The fire brigade reached the spot to douse the fire.
