QS MBA Rankings 2026: These 3 Indian Business Schools Made It To The Top 100

Fourteen Indian institutions have been featured in the QS Global MBA and Business Master’s Rankings 2026, with IIM Bangalore, Ahmedabad, and Calcutta making it to the Top 100 globally. These premier institutes have shown steady progress in key areas such as employability, return on investment (ROI), and thought leadership.
IIM Bangalore leads the Indian cohort, ranking 52nd globally, up one spot from last year. IIM Ahmedabad follows at 58th, rising two places, while IIM Calcutta is at 64th, improving by one rank. The rankings are published by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), which assessed over 390 full-time MBA programs across 80 countries, evaluating them on indicators like employability, ROI, thought leadership, and diversity.
IIM Bangalore tops the Indian list in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2026, securing the 52nd position worldwide. It climbed one rank this year, driven by its strong showing in employability and leadership outcomes. The institute is known for its industry-aligned curriculum and world-class faculty.
IIM Ahmedabad is placed 58th globally, moving up two spots from the previous year. Renowned for its rigorous academic environment and case-based learning, it continues to rank high in ROI and employer reputation. Its graduates consistently secure top placements across global firms.
IIM Calcutta holds the 64th position globally in the 2026 QS rankings, improving by one place. The school stands out for its strengths in finance, analytics, and global exposure. It has shown consistent growth in thought leadership and alumni impact.
