Tennis legends Serena and Venus Williams are stepping into a new arena: podcasting.
The Grand Slam-winning sisters announced the launch of their podcast, “Stockton Street,” which will debut Wednesday on X.
Episodes will be released every other Wednesday, featuring conversations filmed at notable locations and reflecting on their lives both inside and outside of tennis.

Name Inspired by Compton Roots
The podcast takes its name from Stockton Street in Compton, California, where the Williams sisters grew up. Their rise from modest beginnings in Compton to global tennis superstardom has long been part of their story, and the title serves as a tribute to their roots.
The debut episode was filmed at Arthur Ashe Stadium, the centerpiece of the U.S. Open in New York. It’s a fitting location, given that Serena won six of her 23 Grand Slam singles titles there, while Venus collected two of her seven major singles trophies at the same venue.
Serena and Venus at the U.S. Open
Although Serena retired from professional tennis after the 2022 U.S. Open, where she exited in the third round, she remains one of the most decorated players in history. Her 23 Grand Slam singles titles stand as the most in the Open Era.
Venus, now 45, returned to the U.S. Open this year as the oldest singles competitor since 1981. While she lost in the opening round of singles, she enjoyed a spirited run in the doubles draw, advancing to the quarterfinals alongside her partner Leylah Fernandez.
A Partnership Beyond the Court
The Williams sisters are no strangers to collaboration. Between 1999 and 2016, they teamed up to win 14 Grand Slam women’s doubles titles, cementing themselves as one of the most successful duos in the history of the sport.
Their move into podcasting represents a continuation of their partnership, having traded in baselines for punchlines in this new era.
