Popular monitor manufacturer, AOC, has today added a new enthusiast-grade gaming monitor to its arsenal. Meet the AGON PRO AG276QKD2, which is the company’s first 500 Hz QD-OLED QHD gaming monitor that aims to compete with similar offerings from brands like Samsung, MSI, Acer, ASUS, and GIGABYTE. The AGON PRO AG276QKD2 uses Samsung’s 3rd gen QD-OLED technology and offers leading specifications such as 0.03 ms GtG response time and up to 500 Hz refresh rate for high fluidity.
The AG276QKD2 represents everything we’ve learned about what competitive players truly need,
Our latest addition to the AGON PRO line-up delivers 500 Hz performance alongside the punchy visual quality that QD-OLED provides. Professional players now have access to extreme refresh rates combined with the superior contrast they need for both competitive play and even professional-level colour accuracy for content consumption and creation.

The monitor features a 26.5″ display size, ideal for both eSports players and enthusiast gamers in general. AGON PRO AG276QKD2 offers DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and brings incredibly high contrast for deeper blacks, while also delivering vibrant images via a wide color gamut by including color spaces like 99.1% DCI-P3, 98% Adobe RGB, and 147.6% sRGB. The monitor supports true 10-bit color depth for displaying 1.07 billion colors, making gaming and video content more enjoyable.
I actually was not aware that OLED technology provides for an instant response time below 1 ms. That’s pretty mind-blowing
I also found the colour accuracy stunning. Superior contrast can be super helpful in distinguishing details and make players stand out against the background, resulting in a competitive advantage.

Thankfully, the AGON PRO AG276QKD2 doesn’t come with the old DP 1.4 and offers the latest DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 port, which is essential to have uncompressed visuals at 2K@500Hz. There are two HDMI 2.1 ports as well if users want to connect it to their consoles. Plus, a USB Hub offers essential connectivity ports for peripherals and charging devices. Another great addition is the inclusion of two 5W speakers, which can come in handy.
The AGON PRO AG276QKD2 is priced at 679 pounds and should be available at various retailers soon.
